Our Final Verdict
Muse 2 Headband
Muse 2 is one of the most sophisticated consumer brain-training devices available — a medical-grade EEG headband that provides real-time brainwave feedback to guide meditation practice. The biofeedback loop is scientifically valid and the data is genuinely useful for meditation training. The significant difference from Genius Brain Signal is the direction of the tool: Muse teaches you to self-regulate toward calm. Genius Brain Signal uses specific signal-based audio entrainment to activate higher cognitive frequencies. For active performance enhancement rather than calm practice, Genius Brain Signal's entrainment is more directly relevant.
